Roof Safety Lifeline - SFS Platforms

We provide a range of leading fall protection systems that are designed to appeal to all parties who come into contact with working at height applications, including safety installer companies, roofing contractors, architects, designers, building owners & building contractors.

Restraint systems are our default system of choice. A typical restraint system is set 2.3m back from the roof perimeter or any open edge or potential fall.

The user’s path is dictated and there is no risk of a fall. Minimal ppe and user training are required, making this an ideal solution for most projects.

A fall arrest system requires more input from a design point of view; this should always be backed up with published calculations applicable to the roof substrate type.

The operative's height (a), lanyard length (b), shock absorber (c) and minimum safety margin (d) must be taken into account.

Other factors such as building height and fall clearances require due consideration too. This type of system requires specialist PPE, user training and a rescue plan to be in place as there is potential for a fall with this system type.
