A private development of 8 luxury apartments in Lancaster required the ultimate in green roofs and ICB Limited, sole distributor's of alwitra^®'s World class single ply membranes created the perfect package.

Alwitra^®'s licensed contractor, McConnell Seamless Roofing was asked to incorporate a green roof as part of a major re-development to turn a stunning stone built childrens home and gate-house into exclusive homes for developer Russell Armer Limited.

Russell Armer Limited, a long standing, quality business based in Kendal required the very best specification, that would enable the roof area above existing garages to be turned into roof garden and terrace areas accessible from the apartments.

ICB Limited created a specification comprising the Company's EVALON^® membrane, protection and drainage layer - EvaDrain D and soil/turf which will be planted to complement the areas hard landscaping

In addition to ICB's single ply membranes, the new EvaGreen range includes products to provide drainage, water reservoirs, protection and even the final seed matting complete with a range of plants chosen especially for harsh roofscape environments.

It is literally the Ultimate green roof with the added bonus that it can be installed for a highly competitive price with a range of options to suit any green roof or roof garden specification.

Developed using the most modern geocomposite technology all products have been performance tested for durability and have been designed to work in harmony with alwitra®'s membranes for a roof which quite simply could not be more environmentally friendly or attractive.

Fully trained and accredited contractors may only install all alwitra^® membranes and each project is covered by the Company's insurance backed latent defects guarantee (subject to application).
