New roof for Stonehenge

Ok, the roof is actually for the stunning new Stonehenge Exhibition Visitor Centre.

Designed by architects Denton Corker Marshall and built just 1.5 miles from the world-famous heritage monument, construction of the new Visitor Centre started in July 2012.

ICB creates sustainable solution at BRE visitor centre

ICB's Barrial installation breaks UK record ahead of Commonwealth Games

ICB has supplied nearly 300lm of the Barrial aluminium roof safety system at the £70 million redevelopment of 185-221 Buchanan Street, Glasgow. Welcoming over 90 million shoppers every year, the prime retail spot is being developed as part of the city's regeneration in time for the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

ICB gives Hazel Oak School a lesson in sustainability

Sustainable roofing solutions specialist ICB has provided a range of products for the roof refurbishment at Hazel Oak School in Solihull - including the ultra-light ICBsolar fixing system to enable the installation of 72 solar panels without any penetration of the new waterproofing membrane.

ICB supports carbon offsetting projects in Kenya

ICB teamed up with co2balance - experts in the practical application of carbon offsetting - to counter its carbon footprint and make ICB a CarbonZero company. With support from ICB, co2balance completed two 'Gold Standard', carbon reduction projects in Kenya - providing two communities with CarbonZero cooking stoves.

At a new, eco-friendly holiday home on the Isle of Lewis in Scotland, SBA Architects Ltd wanted a green roof system which would blend seamlessly into the picturesque location. EvaGreen makes it big in Budapest

One of Eastern Europe's largest green roofs, spanning 23,800 square metres and costing 500,000 Euros, was installed in Budapest in an astonishingly quick four weeks. Covering the Hungarian capital's waste water cleansing plant, it features the popular EvaGreen multi-layered green roofing system.

At the £2 million expansion of the National Farmers Union (NFU) HQ in Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, ICB (projects) Ltd has completed the installation of a 36kWp solar PV system which over the 25 year period of the Government Feed-in-Tariff could generate over a £1/4 million.

For a new £2.7 million luxury apartment complex on the seafront at Hayling Island, the architectural detailing had to be of an exceptionally high standard. To ensure this development had the kerb appeal befitting of a high quality new development, main contractor Moor Construction worked with ICB Fabrications on a bespoke and durable design for the fascias, soffits, guttering and downpipes.
